Once confirmed, you will receive all necessary information to pick up your rental including the name of the Supplier.
Our site clearly indicates whether the car rental supplier is on-airport or requires a shuttle off airport. This information is available during the booking process.
Car rental rates are dynamic and change based on supply and demand. Confirming your rental as early as possible affords the best opportunity of receiving the lowest pricing.
You will need a major credit card in your name and a valid driver’s license.
Many suppliers do accept debit cards, however, certain restrictions may apply including presenting a return airline ticket, a credit check, a higher security deposit, etc. Please review the supplier’s terms & conditions online at the time of booking, or contact us at customerservice@carrental8.com for assistance.
Yes. A typical deposit ranges from $250 - $500 depending on the supplier, location and car type. You can review the supplier’s terms & conditions online prior to completing your booking.
The vehicles shown on your search are examples of the car types within that vehicle group. A specific make or model cannot be guaranteed as fleets are constantly changing.
Please contact us by clicking the Contact Us button located on our website and select “Request Modification”. You will be asked to provide some details and an agent will get back to you promptly.
To cancel your booking, click on "Manage Booking" at the top of our home page, enter your email address and booking number and click on "cancel booking."
Cancellation policy – After your reservation is confirmed, a fee of $75.00 or 10% of the prepaid amount (whichever amount is greater) will apply.
Reservations with a total value less than the cancellation fee itself will not be eligible for refund. Failure to cancel prior to pick-up date and time will result in all charges being final (no refunds, no changes, non-transferable). There are no refunds for early returns. There will be no refunds if the primary driver cannot provide a valid driver's license and/or major credit card in driver's own name
NEW - You can opt for a Future Credit which will protect the FULL value of your prepaid rental. This will avoid the normal cancellation fee agreed to at the time of booking. You can use your future credit within one year of the issuance date at any location worldwide.
To apply your future credit voucher to a new reservation, simply click on the Contact Us button on our website, choose the “Redeem/rebook with future credit option”, and provide us with the details requested along with your phone number. An agent will reach out to you to assist.
All suppliers will hold the renter responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle. You can purchase coverage online when booking if you do not have coverage with your own policy to cover you.
You can purchase rental coverage at the time of booking at a low price which includes protection for your rental vehicle if it is damaged or stolen. Your Plan also provides you with emergency medical evacuation coverage. You can cancel the coverage at any time prior to your pickup date and time of your rental.
This allows you to cancel your booking up to 48 hours before pickup with full refund and no cancellation fees (except for the cost of the Protect Package). Additionally, we will reimburse your deductible up to $250.00 maximum, in the unfortunate event of an accident or glass and tire damage.
The minimum rental age is 21 with most suppliers. A young driver fee applies for all drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 based on the length of the rental, location and supplier ranging from $20 - $35 per day. Young drivers may also be limited to certain car classes. You can contact us directly to be sure you qualify.
You can return early, however, once you pick up your rental, there is no refund for early return.
Car Rental 8 can modify your rental prior to pickup based on availability. If you have already picked up your rental, you can request an extension directly with the car rental supplier (rate determined by supplier).
You will see a charge from Car Rental 8 that you agreed to at the time you booked. Any optional items purchased at the rental counter and/or taxes & fees will be charged locally by the supplier.
We publish our lowest rates for example searches reflecting the lowest price for certain dates and car types. Rates are constantly changing based on your search.
